You have to admit, the fact that they write their own music is quite impressive. Who writes their own music anymore? I'm not a huge fan of people who don't. Although, I'm sad to say that I don't mind Miley Cyrus either. I guess that's what we get for having two girls! And don't let Erik fool you. He doesn't mind them that much either. In fact, he went to the doctor the other month & came home & told me how he read an article about Nick Jonas while he was in the waiting room. Turns out that Nick (that would be the youngest brother in the middle of the picture) has Type 1 diabetes pretty bad. So, we like him best. Anyway, just had to share how pathetic my life has gotten these days.

Melanie. I can only HOPE to be as cool as you some day. I don't know any famous people. Except one time Marie Osmond asked me a question in the BYU Bookstore. And that is it. Oh, and I met Buzz Aldron-you know the 2nd man on the moon with Neil Armstrong. He's my brother in law's uncle. Actually I don't even think I met him, I just looked at him. He had on a very fancy tuxedo. That's it. BUT!!!!! Now I can say I know you, and YOU know a lot of famous people!!! So if I were to do my six degrees, or whatever, I would just put you on the top, and continue down to Kevin Bacon. Yep, I am pretty hip. Thanks for the confidence boost!
My Eric must have read the same article because he was impressed with them too. Kids kind of dictate what we listen to around here so we are up on anything from the Disney channel.
Some day it'll be MTV so I'm grateful for this pure and innocent phase.
